All pupils are assessed against their EHCP targets and outcomes in the four areas of need.

Phonics Screening Year 1 and 2

Many of our pupils in school access Read Write Inc phonics within their lessons. Those in Year 1 or 2 who have met age related expectations will access the national phonics screening check if appropriate.

KS2 Assessments

The majority of Willoughby pupils are working well below age related expectations and therefore are unable to access external statutory assessments. However, we have high aspirations for all pupils and each year we identify any pupil who is at a level to complete the assessments.

Throughout the year we participate in moderation events to support high quality teaching and learning. 

KS4 Qualifications

For those pupils who are able to access formal qualifications and where they are relevant, pupils will have the opportunity to complete a Pearson Entry Level Qualification in English Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening and Maths at Entry Level 1, 2 or 3. Some pupils may also access L1 qualifications.

KS5 Qualifications

In the PFA Hub pupils work towards OCR life and living qualifications. The OCR course consists of 31 different units covering communication, numeracy, ICT, personal skills, home management, environment and community, world of work and can be accessed at entry level 1, 2 or 3. Some pupils may also undertake functional skills in English and Maths and qualifications particular to an area of industry such as food and hygiene and basic first aid or they may access Entry Level Pearson qualifications.

Pupil Destinations

2021-2022 -  1 pupil left Willoughby at the end of Year 14 and went to Linkage in Lincoln

2022-2023 - 3 pupils left Willoughby at the end of year 14. 1 accessed Lincoln College, 1 accessed 'The Cree in Grantham. 1 accessed SENSE 1 day a week.

2023-24 - 4 pupils left Willoughby at the end of year 14. 2 accessed Stamford College, I accessed The Cree in Grantham and one accessed Day Break in Grantham.

                   1 pupil left Willoughby at the end of year 12 and enroled at  Boston College.

2024- 25 - 1 pupil left Willoughby at the end of year 11 and enroled at Boston College.

                    4 pupils left Willoughby at the end of year 11 and enroled at Stamford College.

                    1 pupil left Willoughby at the end of year 11 and attends  Brightways Care - Rutland.

                    1 pupil left Willoughby at the end of year 14 and attends Vision Day Support - Stamford

                    1 pupil left Willoughby at the end of year 14 and attends Options Day Centre - Stamford
