Academy Council

The Head Boy and Head Girl are members of the academy council. In addition, each class votes and elects a class representative to sit on the council.  Two pupils from each class, creates the council.

During the academic year the council have a wide range of responsibilities including choosing resources for the academy, being on the interview panel during recruitment and suggesting and organising social events.

Head boy and girl

Every year Willoughby are represented by a Head Boy and Head Girl.  The election of these positions take place in July of the academic year prior to their year of service. Each pupil and staff member is eligible to vote in the election.

The Head Boy and Head Girl have additional jobs around the academy, represent the academy at functions and are also members of the council.
